A triumphant re-release of Grasshopper’s sold out cassette “Kindertotenlieder” (originally released by Baked Tapes).
Grasshopper, a New York based trumpet and electronics duo, takes a step back from the skronky psychedelia of “Dads Against Vietnam” and explores more subtle textures laced with complex harmonies and melodies that create moments of beautiful return that also represent ominous portents of what’s coming.
This re-release includes an extra track from Grasshopper’s limited-run Halloween cassette “If You Want The Million Dollars, You Have To Sleep In The Haunted House”.
